The Centre for Experiential and Career Education (CECE) offers employers various forms of recruitment services to build connections with students and alumni on and off campus. Here’s how CECE can help you meet with candidates to find your next hire, build your organization’s brand, and lend your expertise within the UFV community:
Hire a student from the Co-operative Education (Co-op) program |
Access a pool of eager, motivated, and talented UFV Co-op students for your short and long-term human resources needs. Co-op combines academic studies with relevant work experience. Academic semesters alternate with work terms, giving students up to two years of relevant work experience. Visit Hire a Co-op Student for more information. |

Participate in a Career Fair |
Join us for an exciting day of meeting with current UFV students, recent graduates, and alumni across various programs. The UFV Career Fair provides opportunities for career seekers to expand their professional network by learning from employers who are open to sharing their career insights and the various careers available at their organization. Save the date for our upcoming Career Fair: Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 11am to 3pm Registration opens November 1, 2023 via CareerLink. You will need to be a registered and approved employer on CareerLink. |
Hold an on-campus information tableCost: $125+GST for 3 hours |
Information tables are a fantastic way to grab students' attention and promote your organization on campus! Situated in a high-traffic area on campus, you will have the chance to connect with students on the go. CECE will provide:

You must have an approved CareerLink employer account prior to booking. No refunds for cancellations made within 72 hours of arranged information table. Share a recruitment opportunity or networking event with UFV students and alumni by tagging UFV CECE (@ufvjobs) on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn at least two weeks before the event. We review and approve social media reposts on a case-by-case basis. |
Distribute posters on campus*Cost: Free |
Promote a recruitment opportunity or networking event with UFV students and alumni by mailing CECE printed copies of posters a minimum of two weeks prior to the event. Include your organization’s name, the date and time of the event, and a link (or QR code) for students to obtain more information. See Contact Us for our mailing address. |
Hold a virtual information session*Cost: Free |
Advertise a virtual information session to UFV students and alumni by tagging UFV CECE (@ufvjobs) on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn at least two weeks before the event. |
Share your expertise through Career EducationCost: Free |
Build early connections with the UFV community through Career Education, providing students and alumni with learning opportunities that are meaningful and relevant to their career development. Invited employers share their expertise by participating in events that are open to students and alumni from all program areas.
