Exam day instructions

 

Arrive early for your exam

  • Arrive 15 minutes early and be fully prepared to start the exam.
  • If you arrive within 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, you will be allowed to write the exam, but you won't be able to make up for the missed time.
  • If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, you will need your instructor's permission to write the exam, and you won't be able to make up for the missed time.


 

Check in before you start your exam

Abbotsford:

Check in at Student Services Front Desk (B214).

If your exam starts prior to 9:00am, after 4:30pm, or on a weekend, check in at the Centre for Accessibility Services (Room B202).

Chilliwack:

Check in at Student Services Front Desk (CEP A1318).

If your exam starts prior to 9:00am, after 4:00 pm, or on a weekend, check in at the Centre for Accessibility Services (Room A1346)


 

What to bring to your exam

  • Your photo ID (examples: UFV Student ID, BC ID, Driver’s License, Passport)
  • Your own pair of wired, non-bluetooth headphones (if your exam accommodations require the use of headphones (examples: Exam Music, CPEN)


 

What NOT to bring to your exam

  • Don’t bring materials your instructor has not authorized (e.g. notes, books, calculators, and formula sheets will not be allowed without advanced explicit written authorization from the instructor)
  • Electronic devices (this includes cell phones, smart watches, Bluetooth headphones, and any other electronic devices not explicitly pre-authorized by your instructor.)


 

Store your things in a CAS locker

  • Be prepared to leave your coat(s), bags(s) and any unauthorized material in one of the CAS lockers.
  • You will not be able to go back into your locker until you have completed and handed in your exam, except in an emergency.


 

If you feel unwell on the day of your exam
