"I feel that it is my responsibility to pass on knowledge as well as engage in continuous learning."
Mr. Jason Campbell is someone who has always had his feet in two worlds.
He is of Scottish, French, and Stó꞉lō (Indigenous) ancestry. He views this as a strength, as he can use many perspectives to find common ground and find solutions to problems that may escape either group.
After facing academic challenges in high school and college, Jason persisted in his journey, returning as a mature student to acquire his executive master’s degree in business administration in Indigenous Business and Leadership from Simon Fraser University in 2020.
Professionally, his journey has gone from restorative justice worker, to program facilitator for Correctional Services of Canada, to Executive Director of an organization with over 350 employees and an operating budget of $50 million.
He values his family, his culture, and the land. Jason aspires to lifelong learning and making positive change wherever he goes. He enjoys making new connections and building relationships, as well as coaching sports when time permits.

I have a great appreciation for the professor who pushed me to get my CA designation. Isn’t it crazy how a little conversation can change your life so completely. Keith’s guidance alone has given me a lifetime of happiness and wealth. If I had gone to a larger university who knows if something like that would have ever happened. I am very proud of the route I took, but I wouldn’t have gotten there without my professors at UFV.
