This program builds on the success of the bachelor’s degrees in the Faculty of Business and Computing, combining the expertise from the School of Business and the School of Computing, with an interdisciplinary collaboration from the department of Statistics (Faculty of Science).
By taking carefully designed courses with the right mix of business, computing, and statistics, you will gain the technical skills you need to house, extract, manipulate data, and deal efficiently with meaningful decision-making processes.
The Business Analytics post-baccalaureate diploma is an excellent complementary credential if you seek skills and tools to make data-driven decisions. The ability to understand and work with data are skills that the BC Government forecasts to be most in-demand and necessary across almost 40% of job openings in B.C. for the next decade. These are met directly and indirectly through the curriculum and learning outcomes from the program.
