Prospective student info sessions

As part of the application process, incoming students are required to attend a program orientation session. Invitations will be sent to all students who have applied to the program before the orientation session which will be held in March. Prospective students are welcome to attend as well.

If you applied after March or you are unable to attend due to extraordinary circumstances, please review the program information session document for your program below. When you've done this, email cyfsinfo@ufv.ca with your name and UFV Student ID confirming you have reviewed information for your program. 

 

‌Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care (BA CYC) program 

Employers are looking for skilled Child and Youth Care (CYC) practitioners who are able to work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative way. As a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care, you may seek employment in a variety of settings that serve the needs of children, youth and families. The BA CYC can also be a stepping stone towards the Teacher Education program (Bachelor of Education).
