If you're graduating and you need assistance at the ceremony
If you are a graduate who requires accessibility accommodations, please either advise us at convocation@ufv.ca or contact the Centre for Accessibility Services to ensure we have assistance available for you in the marshalling process and the procession.
Please note that graduates will cross a raised stage, accessible via ramp.
If your guest is elderly or can't walk far
Accessible seating is available in the ceremony hall, including space for wheelchairs and walkers. The entire guest experience is on level ground with no stairs necessary.
Drop-off is available directly in front of the main entrance to the celebration, at the southwest corner of the Cascades Athletic Centre (near the SUS shuttle stop). Accessible parking will be available in Lot 10 directly beside the Alumni Celebration Plaza.
