Discover UFV campuses

A House of Transformation

UFV campuses are located in the traditional territory of the Stō:lō peoples. We’re deeply grateful for the honour of living and working in S'olh Temexw (Our Land).

The UFV motto, "IYAQAWTXW," is in the Halq'eméylem language of the Stō:lō and means "house of transformation," reflecting UFV's mandate as a place of change — of intellectual and character transformation.

Your university has the best backyard

UFV has four campuses across the Fraser Valley, putting you close to some of B.C.’s most beautiful urban spaces and landscapes. Dine at the newest crop of farm-to-table restaurants, browse trendy shops, hike to a pristine waterfall, ski the local peaks — there’s so much to do here! Plus, we’re just a short drive away from Vancouver, with its sparkling beaches, vibrant culture and towering Coast Mountains.

Our two main campuses

Abbotsford campus sub building

Abbotsford campus

This is UFV’s main campus and its biggest. The Abbotsford campus is home to a new student centre, a large library, a cafeteria, a student residence, a bookstore, and the Envision Financial Athletic Centre.

Across town, you’ll find UFV’s Clearbrook Centre, which you can access by walking through the International Friendship Garden.

Chilliwack campus

Chilliwack campus

You’ll find our second-largest campus spread across 85 acres at Chilliwack’s Canada Education Park. With airy, modern classrooms and state-of-the-art science and computer labs, the Chilliwack campus is a perfect base for many applied and technical studies programs (trades), as well as nursing, kinesiology and many other disciplines. UFV’s Agriculture Centre of Excellence is located here as well, including three huge greenhouses—one of which is the tallest in North America—and a livestock barn.

Other locations in the Fraser Valley

The Mission campus at Heritage Park Centre lies on a hillside overlooking the picturesque Fraser River valley. It offers a selection of academic courses, along with our Graphic and Digital Design Program.

UFV Hope Centre serves the local community with upgrading and continuing education courses. It also connects remote students with UFV services and community resources. From here, students can request library books, get their campus cards, and write exams.
