FAQ Changes to Payment Options

Phasing Out Cash Payment for Tuition, Student Fees and Housing Rental Fees

Why is UFV changing its cash acceptance policy?

UFV is making this change to preserve the integrity of the post-secondary financial process, support the safety and security of students' payments, and follow best practices already adopted by many post-secondary institutes in BC and across Canada.

How can I pay my tuition and student fees?

The recommended, and most convenient method of payment is online banking. Payment can be made up to midnight (Pacific Time) of the payment deadline. Interac debit payments, cheques, bank drafts and money orders are also accepted. If paying from outside of Canada the recommended method of payment is Convera

What does this change impact?

The change will apply to all domestic and international tuition and student fees, and housing rental fees. Students will be able to pay for these fees through online banking, debit payments and cheques.
