The Office of the Registrar schedule for submission of Graduands to Senate for final approval:
- September
- October
- November
- February
- March
- June
Internal process to support graduation application
- Student submits Graduation Application in myUFV
- Approver identifies applications pending review through Fast Student
- Upon completion of review of the student record the (final) approver will update the approval in Fast Student.
- If review of the student record is required by multiple areas (e.g. field of study, Graduate Studies), only the final approval should be updated in Fast Student
- If the student does not qualify to graduate the Advisor is required to communicate this to the student
- OReg updates the student's graduation application record according to the approval provided
- Students who have successfully completed program requirements and been approved to graduate are submitted to Senate for final approval
- OReg updates the student's graduation application record to indicate the credential has been awarded
- The graduate's parchment is prepared for pick up and they are notified at their UFV email address
