The portfolio info session introduces the creative industry and UFV's Graphic + Digital Design programs. Instructors, students, and grads share real-world experiences, provide feedback and advice on entrance portfolios, answer questions, and give tours of the studios and labs. Attendance is strongly encouraged.

The Graphic and Digital Design diploma is a full-time 60-credit cohort program offered on the Mission campus (fall intake), and the Abbotsford campus (winter intake).
Fall Intake (Mission Campus): Portfolio submission deadline May 20, 2019. Portfolios will be reviewed on an ongoing basis at the end of each month, starting January. Please submit your portfolio as early as possible for the best opportunity for a seat.
Winter Intake (Abbotsford Campus): Portfolios will be reviewed following the portfolio submission deadline of October 20, 2019.
Note: The Graphic and Digital Design Diploma is a limited intake program with 20 seats available on the Mission campus (fall intake), and 10 seats available on the Abbotsford campus (winter intake).

Interview: Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview. International or out-of-region applicants may be interviewed online via Skype or Google Hangouts.
Notification of Acceptance
All accepted applicants will receive a letter of acceptance from the Office of the Registrar. To accept your offer and secure your seat in the Graphic and Digital Design program, pay your $200 registration deposit. View payment methods.

Any applicant who does not register will be replaced with a waitlisted applicant.
Equipment requirements (MacBook Pro laptop) will be finalized six weeks before the term start. New students will receive an email notification with equipment specifications and appointment times for equipment set-up. Questions? Fall 2019 semester begins on Tuesday September 3, 2019. Winter 2020 semester begins on Monday January 6, 2020.
New diploma students are required to attend two mandatory GDD lab orientation sessions taking place during the first week of class.
