Bachelor of Fine Arts, Graphic and Digital Design Major

Build your design degree with a creative practice foundation in communication design, brand identity, interactive design and dynamic media then develop integrative skills essential to design practice in years 3 and 4 through work experience (practicums or co-op), advanced design courses, flexible electives, and creative leadership.

Graphic and Digital Design Diploma

Develop a solid foundation in communication design, brand identity, interactive design, and dynamic media to enable you to become a skilled graphic designer, visual communicator, and creative strategist.

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Graphic and Digital Design

Enrich your Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Graphic Design minor or extended minor to add a fulfilling area of professional practice into your résumé and prepare to play a leadership role in the creative industry. Pair the graphic and digital design extended minor with another creative discipline, including Graphic and Digital Design, Creative Writing, Theatre, Media and Communications Studies, Visual Arts, or Art History.

You can also add Graphic Design minor to any degree at UFV. Get essential graphic and digital design skills in communication design and interactive design with a graphic and digital design minor. This applied foundation introduces Adobe software, design thinking, creative processes, and professionals standards of practice. Or choose a field of practice in communication design, brand identity, interactive design, or dynamic media with an extended minor.

UFV's Bachelor of Media Arts prepares you for creative production in digital and interactive media, one of the fastest growing industries in B.C. today. The Bachelor of Media Arts program allows you to tailor your learning to your interests and career goals by choosing a field of practice from five Media Arts concentrations.
